Solution

One kg of rice has obviously more than 1000 but less than 100,000 rice grains. Taking the geometric mean (understand why here), we conclude that 1 kg of rice bag has about 10,000 rice grains.

Or, 10 kg of rice will have about 100,000 rice grains.
